Webinar: Importing Large IFC and BIM Models into IDA ICE

Due to the high interest in our recent Revit to IDA ICE webinar and the many follow-up questions regarding large IFC file imports, we are pleased to invite you to a new session dedicated to importing large BIM and geometry data into IDA ICE.

In this webinar, we will explore advanced methods to import large and/or complex BIM models into IDA ICE from a variety of sources — including IFC, CAD, Speckle, OpenStreetMap, and RVT files (without requiring Revit). We will also discuss workflows involving Blender, Pollination, Rhino/Grasshopper, and other supporting tools.

Participants familiar with ICEBridge or previous sessions will recognize some key concepts; however, this webinar will also introduce new developments and insights, including a first look at the beta version of IDA ICE 5.2.
